Official photographer for the Kent County Show!

I was recently hired to be an official photographer for the Kent County show's 3 day event.

It was an enjoyable event in which I have taken nearly 1900 photos, soon to be purged to the best 300-400.

I shot with two cameras and a variety of focal lengths. The Tamrom 70-200mm F2.8 being my most frequently used on my Nikon Z6. However I did also use my Sigma 150-600mm for some of the close up horse shots in the Astor ring.

Outdoor shots were largely taken using my Sigma 24mm F1.4 on my full frame Panasonic Lumix S5.

My favourite portrait lens, the Nikkor 85mm F1.4 also got some action.

The weather was a mixed bag. Many moments where I had to avoid the rain by taking some additional community shots in the interior events such as the young farmers training tent and the antiques fair.

A largely enjoyable event in which I hope to be rehired for again next year.

A handful of my favourite photos to be added to my events portfolio soon. Delivery to my client is the priority now though! :)

Sometimes choosing a camera lens for these events is as complicated as a diva choosing a dress for a night out! What to wear vibes.

Anyhow, until next time, all the best! :)
